Diana Nyad is perhaps the greatest living athlete.  I’d put her up against any football or basketball player.  Here she is pictured after her 1979 attempt to swim from Bimini to Florida.  Now at age 61, she’s in training to swim from Cuba to Florida.  I bet she’ll do it too.
