Well, I had to do it.  I had to change the dates on some of the coming soon books to 2014.  Here it is early November, and even if I finish one of these books today, it won’t be available until after the first of the year– and I’m not finishing any today.  Soon, hopefully, but not today.

I guess I was just overly ambitious in my predictions for 2013, but I’ve had some pretty productive years.

2007, I published Princess of Amathar, which had been done for years, and I started writing Senta and the Steel Dragon.

2008, I actually wrote The Voyage of the Minotaur and The Drache Girl, but held them back.  At the time I was thinking they were parts of one longer book.  The only thing I published that year was His Robot Girlfriend.

2009, I wrote The Two DragonsEaglethorpe Buxton and the Elven Princess, and Eaglethorpe Buxton and the Sorceress, but only published the latter two.

2010 was a big year.  I wrote and published Senta and the Steel Dragon Book 0: BrechalonTesla’s Stepdaughters, and Senta and the Steel Dragon Book 2: The Dark and Forbidding Land.  I also published Senta and the Steel Dragon Book 1: The Voyage of the Minotaur, and Senta and the Steel Dragon Book 3: The Drache Girl.

2011, I wrote and published His Robot WifeWomen of PowerBlood Trade, and Astrid Maxxim and her Amazing Hoverbike.

2012, I wrote and published Senta and the Steel Dragon Book 4: The Young Sorceress and The Many Adventures of Eaglethorpe Buxton, and finally published Senta and the Steel Dragon Book 5: The Two Dragons.

I had high hopes for five books in 2013, but I guess it’s only two: Astrid Maxxim and her Undersea Dome and His Robot Wife: Patience is a Virtue.

When I look at what I published I kind of peaked in 2010, but when I look at what I actually wrote, I’ve been pretty consistently finishing three books a year.  If I can do that for about 30 more years, I get near my goal.  I really would like to have as many books written as Edgar Rice Burroughs before I die.  H. Rider Haggard would be even better.
