It’s been a difficult few months as I’ve been taking a program of 18 post-graduate credits though Southern Utah University. Eighteen credits in eighteen weeks is pretty grueling, even if you aren’t trying to work full time while doing it. It hasn’t been a happy time.

I’m really sad over the fact that I’ve basically done zero writing over the past thirteen weeks. Though there are five more to go during for the program, I am hoping to at least get something written. I’ve been playing a bit with 82 Eridani: Journey and Kanana: The Jungle Girl, but I need to get far enough ahead in classwork, so that I’ll have time to really get into one or the other.

I’m also not too happy because I’ve gained a bunch of weight in those same weeks. With my wife working and me completely involved in school, nobody wants much to cook. So we’ve been ordering out. Southern Nevada is not the Mecca of takeaway food. Pizza. Burgers. Pizza. Chicken. Did I say Pizza? Domino’s even stopped offering side salads.

Well, right now I’m going to hammer out a few sentences if it kills me. Then it’s right back to school. I have a ton of homework due tonight.
