Oops Part III

HRG CharityFor some reason I had much more trouble getting my manuscript ready for publication with His Robot Girlfriend: Charity that I usually do.  As soon as I fixed one formatting problem, another popped up.  Finally, I got a message form Smashwords that everything was fine, except that I had an extra line at the end of each paragraph.  There!  It’s fixed!

Finally everything is set and the book is now available for preorder at Smashwords, Amazon, and iBooks.  It should be available for preorder at the other bookstores that offer such, soon.

If you enjoyed the previous His Robot Girlfriend and His Robot Wife books, I think you will like this one.  I personally think its the best of the series.  Keep an eye out for it.

  1. Hm, it makes me wondering.. do I get it right the book is finished? And if yes, do you mind answering why it will take so long to get it published? SW states 16th of January 2015 which is more than 2 months from now..
If you can’t due to some legal restrictions do not worry.. I was just curious.. 🙂

  2. Hi. Thanks for the questions. The book is finished, although I plan to give it a few more editing passes between now January just in case. The decision to do a preorder rather than release it immediately… I guess you could call it a business decision. By having a preorder period, when the release date comes, all the preorders are counted at once, and then there is the possibility that the higher sales will push the book onto the best seller charts (or at least make it more visible). I normally wouldn’t have set such a long time before publication, but the ebookstore are closed around Christmas time, so it has to be either in November or later in January, and I didn’t think I would be ready by November.

  3. Hi. I just preordered it on iBookstore. I just read “Patience is a virtue”. Ok, I’m not a native speaker, but I can understand quite well. But I have one thing: You wrote “Ryan is a tool”. What did you mean with that? Should it be “Ryan is a fool”? Thanks for the nice stories.

    • Hi,
      Thanks for the question.
“Tool” is American slang. It sometimes means fool– one who isn’t intelligent enough to know he’s being used (like a tool). More often, it simply means an un-cool or stupid person. It’s usually considered less harsh than other terms.
