As I write this, I just finished chapter 14 in the draft of The Price of Magic.  It took me 14 days to complete which is more than most chapters have.  This is for several reasons: 1) It’s a long chapter.  Chapter 13 was short.  This one is much longer than the others.  2) It was an important chapter.  The words had to be just right, not the least of which because a major character dies.  3) I’m trying to tie up the school year and that’s taking a lot of my time.  As I write this, I’ve still got 7 days of school left.  I’m also on the leadership team, the academic vocabulary team, and the multicultural team.  Lots of meetings.  I’m also still taking post-grad classes.  This week finishes up the third.  Next week, the final three start– all at once!  I may finish this book.  If I don’t, it will be because I’ve died.  Watch here for more details either way.
