King Solomon’s Mines by H. Rider Haggard tells the adventure tale of Allen Quatermain’s adventures through Africa in search of the titled ruins.  There have been several movies of it, all fairly cheesy, although on did feature Sharon Stone.  You can download the ebook free from several sites including Feedbooks.com.
