His Robot Girlfriend – More Reader Reviews

Gads.

There’s at least two more books in exploring this story (and ever-so-optimistic romance). Not to mention the potential conspiracy theory angle. Please don’t give up on it!
Without spoiling anything, as a father, I have to say I got tears in my eyes precisely where you expect. It did feel that this rich vein was left unexplored. What really happened?
Hats off Wesley! Very much enjoyed!

Cute story. A nice light read for me. I enjoyed it.

This book is the first book that i read on my new kobo e-reader. I have to admit the story was real engaging from the very beginning. And I am glad that the story did not follow standard android type plots and moral dilemma’s (Ok maybe the main character had a little guilt about her but not much) With that said the ending was great but very fast, I am with a few questions at the end- Perhaps intended by the author – the basic question i think is it different to fall in love with a “hive” robot- or one with individual quirks and free-will?

I enjoyed this story. What man hasn’t wanted to have the perfect fantasy woman at one time or another. I agree that a sequel would be nice. The characters are well established in “His Robot Girlfriend” and it would be interesting to explore more of what could happen in the world that Mr. Allison has created in this book.

The book will start slow but this book really shows what the future could look like which isn’t all that much different from our own.  But it is a fantastic tale which captivated me in more ways than one.  I love this book and if there is a second book I’m sure I won’t be disaapoint.

Does Opportunity Make the Thief – Or Visa-versa?

I’ve had a great day today.  I’ve been cancelling credit-cards and talking to the police.  Last night at about midnight a woman came to the door asking to use the telephone.  I let her use my cell but kept a close eye on her because– well, because I don’t trust people.  I was watching her very closely but I still turned away for a moment and she stole my wife’s purse which was by the front door.  Anyway, she was so quick, I’m sure this wasn’t her first rodeo.

We didn’t realize the purse was gone until this morning and the thief had a chance to charge up about $550 on our debit and credit cards.  I expect we’ll be reimbursed, but I won’t be repaid for my time– which in my estimation is about $250 an hour.  Can you imagine how much Rock Band I could have played in that time?

It reminds me of the story of the woman from the city, who along with her young daughter was walking along in the country.  When they saw a stallion mounting a mare in the pasture, the girl asked her mother. “What are those horses doing?”  Thinking quickly the mother answered. “One horse hurt its foot and the other is helping it back to the barn.”  The girl thought for a moment and then said. “It’s just like in the city.  You try to help someone and you get screwed.”

Wonder Woman vs. Power Girl

Definitely Power Girl….
I’m just guessing but I think that Coke machine ate her dollar.

Wonder Woman vs. Power Girl

My two favorite super-heroes together at last.  I don’t know who I like best though.

Ladybugs Songs and Albums

Platinum Dream (1969)

Platinum Dream was an attempt to return to a more balanced album along the lines of Magnum. It came off as a washed out version of the Spotted Album though, with few hard rockers by Penny Dreadful, and Steffie Sin songs that seemed like Ep!phanee knock-offs. As with the Spotted Album, the one great song was an Ep!phanee classic, this time Rotting Garden of Eden. It was the least successful Ladybugs album, despite the cover. The band posed for the cover wearing only silver body paint, hands and poses supplying some modesty. Unlike Beneath the Denim, there was no recall.
