Brechalon – Cover

Senta and the Steel Dragon Book 0: Brechalon is shaping up. I am more than a third of the way through it and I expect to have the rough draft finished by the end of the year. Here is a preview of the cover.

Beatles Rock Band

I turned fifty the other day and one of my gifts was Beatles Rock Band. Now I have one more thing to do instead of writing. Seriously though, it’s really fun.

Featured Ebook – Tom Swift Among the Diamond Makers

Edward Stratemeyer wrote more than 150 books and plotted many others. Among his creations were the Bobsey Twins, the Hardy Boys, and Nancy Drew. Of course his greatest creation was boy inventor Tom Swift. You can download one of the best Tom Swift right here: Tom Swift Among the Diamond Makers. Get it in your choice of ebook formats free.

Pulling the now free doors of the cabinet open, revealed shelf after shelf of small bottles. Some of the bottles were colored glass, brown or blue, but most were clear. They were filled with liquids and powders of all colors. One small bottle on the second shelf down seemed to be calling her. It was small and blue and about half filled with a milky white liquid. She picked it up and looked carefully at it.

Eaglethorpe Buxton and the Sorceress – Chapter 4 Excertp

“And now the moment you’ve been awaitin’” said an unseen announcer. “Fairy mud-wrestling!”
A great cheer filled the room, but then all grew quiet as the audience watched the pair of fairies on each table disrobe.

“I’m Taffy,” said the six inch tall red-head, as she carefully pulled the robe over her gossamer wings.

“I’m Mustard Seed,” said the other fairy.

“I’m enchanted,” said I.

“I’m going to vomit,” said Myolaena.

The two fairies waded out into the mud, which to them was about knee-high, where they wasted no time. Mustard Seed jumped on Taffy, knocking her down and coating them both in the ooze. Taffy grabbed Mustard Seed’s hair and they both rolled across the bowl, squealing in their tiny little voices.

“Come along. We’re leaving,” said the sorceress.

“You don’t like the show?” I was frankly incredulous.

“You hussy!” shouted Mustard Seed, though I don’t know if she was speaking to Myolaena or to Taffy.

“Come.”

“But they’re so cute and wee.”

Where did my book go?

A few days ago, I pointed out that you could get His Robot Girlfriend as an ebook at Barnes and Noble.com. A few days later, the first two issues of Women of Power were available. Now they are all gone. What happened? It may have something to do with B&N changing their ebook format from ereader to epub with the arrival of their new Nook reading device. I’ll let you know what I find out.

5.0 out of 5 stars The future, June 24, 2009

This novel describes what I think can be something we can have in the future, a kind of life where you can have a robot as your girlfriend. This is of the best science-fiction novels I have read in past few months. I only have a few pages left to finish reading it but there is no doubt in my mind that if want to take a peak at how robots can live along with humans and even create couples u gotta read this excellent book! I hope that the author will find inspiration to go on writing about this subject!
