More Praise for His Robot Girlfriend

Here are some of the recent comments at Feedbooks.com:

From SRDavis,
I just wanted to say how much I love this story. It was the first thing I read from feedbooks, and I was in no way disappointed. I read it pretty much on one sitting. I did have to put it down to take care of something, but I was thinking about it the whole time I was reading it. In fact, you inspired me to finally post my first story. I’ve been sitting on it, unsure if I wanted to put it “out there”. So, thanks!
Again, I truly love the story, it makes me feel optimistic towards the future, and it makes me want to start saving up some money for a robot!

From liredhead,
I could not put this down. Very good story line that flowed nicely. I am really hoping that you continue on with the characters into another book in the near future.
And now I would really like to place an order for a robot that can do the household chores for me as well 🙂

From Robopete,
Just wanted to take the time to say how much I loved this book! I thought that it was extremely well written, easy to read and a thoroughly affirming, joyous experience overall. Devoured it in one sitting and have been re-reading some of my favourite bookmarked parts since – highly recommended.

and From JanG,
Wes, I thoroughly enjoyed His Robot Girlfriend. As an avid Star Trek fan I especially enjoyed the references when they were in Vegas. And I don’t like the Borg either!
I found the world you painted fascinating. A world almost the same as today’s, but with subtle differences.
I had an older download, so I noticed the errors 🙂 which I’m sure you’ve now caught. I downloaded the mobi version and there was a section in chapter 8 where all the quote marks and apostrophes were replaced with symbols and letters.

Thanks to all of you.

Eaglethorpe Buxton and the Elven Princess tops 4,000 Downloads

The title says it all. As I write this, Eaglethorpe Buxton and the Elven Princess has topped 4,000 downloads. You can get it free at manybooks.net or at feedbooks.com or even at smashwords.com. Get your free copy now, or order the paperback at Amazon or by following the links to the right.

Princess of Amathar – Pirated!

I just discovered while googling around that there are pirated copies of Princess of Amathar floating around the net. Now it’s not as if I am making any money off of the book, and I’ve given away more ebook copies than I’ve sold. So I guess I’ve got to feel flattered. I just hope somebody reads those copies and remembers my name.

All New Reader Store

Friday December 11th, Sony and Borders reopened their ebook store, now dubbed the reader store. It has pretty much the same features that it had before, plus new lower prices on best sellers. Best of all, Sony has gone with the Epub book format. This brings us one step closer to having a universal ebook format. Now if only Amazon would get the Kindle on board. It would be great to buy books wherever you wanted, rather than being tied to a single site based on your hardware. We went through the same thing in the early days of computers. You used to have ten different versions of each program for all the computer types out there.

Featured ebook – Black Silk by Jan Gordon

I have not yet had a chance to read this book, but it is on my “to read” list. You can download it free from Feedbooks by clicking here. It has been downloaded more than any recent independently published book on the site, almost 15,000 times. Here is a brief description.

Where did my book go?

A few days ago, I pointed out that you could get His Robot Girlfriend as an ebook at Barnes and Noble.com. A few days later, the first two issues of Women of Power were available. Now they are all gone. What happened? It may have something to do with B&N changing their ebook format from ereader to epub with the arrival of their new Nook reading device. I’ll let you know what I find out.
