Look out Library of Alexandria

The Library of Alexandria
My ebook library has been growing continuously over the past two years now, as I download books on a daily basis from Feedbooks, Manybooks, and Smashwords (sometime buying a book from Fictionmania or the Sony ebook Store), and now my library has topped 5000 books.  By my calculations that gives me more great books at my disposal than were to be found in the great and famous Library of Alexandria.  Yeah me!

Feedbooks

Whether you are an Amazon Kindle user, a Sony Reader user, or someone who would like to download books and read them on your computer, Feedbooks.com is a great resource. Thousands of books are available on this site and they are all free. They include hundreds of works of classic literature, as well as modern works that have been placed into free distribution by their authors. Check it out.

Books Everyone Should Read: Romeo and Juliet

Romeo and Juliet is not a book but a play, and in my opinion is best enjoyed as a play rather than a book. That doesn’t stop millions of people from buying it in book form and reading it that way. If you are one of those people, get it as a free ebook by following this link to Feedbooks. Whether you read or watch it, you should definitedly expericence this greatest love story of all time.

Baen Free Library

There are plenty of places online to get free ebooks, and I’ve tried to point out as many as I could. If you like science fiction, one great spot is Baen Fee Library, if for no other reason than Honor Harrington– the gold standard in military sci-fi.
