Lots of Feedback

Wow.  Lot’s of feedback, here, at Patreon, and on Twitter.  I’m glad to see it.  The truth is that all of the stories listed are in the works.  Some have been on the back burner for a long time, and some are relatively new ideas.

What I’m really excited about is to see how much writing I can actually get done once I retire from my day job (In about six months).  I’d really like to get back on a schedule where I could publish five books a year, a feat I’ve only accomplished once to date.  If I could get all five of these done for 2023, I’d be really pleased with myself.

On the oft-mentioned topic of the His Robot Girlfriend/Wife books, I have definitely not given up on those books.  I have an idea for a whole new Daffodil series, and I’m working on plotting out the first two stories.  One features familiar characters and one new characters in the same world.  So stay tuned.

Hello all,

Hope your September is going well.  I just wanted to give you a quick update on how things are going.  I am exactly at the halfway point of post-edit rewrite for The Destroyer Returns.  Thanks to my patrons, I was able not only to get a professional editor and cover, but also to hire a cartographer to do a world map for the story.  I’ve only seen the preliminary work on the map so far, but I think it’s going to be awesome.  As soon as everything is done, I’ll announce the release date, and of course, eligible patrons will receive their reward copies.

September, a Time to Remember

Hello Everyone,

As we sail through September, things are on the move.  In conjunction (sort of) with the upcoming Astrid Maxxim and the Great Water Project, I have been doing a new revision of all the other books in the series.  Today, I have uploaded a revised Astrid Maxxim and the Electric Racecar Challenge.  It should be live for Kindle in 72 hours (by the 14th).  It may be a week or so for the other outlets.  If you have this book already, you should be able to download the updated version.  If you haven’t read it, give it a try.  It’s just 99 cents in any ebook format.

Speaking of Astrid Maxxim and the Great Water Project, it has just gone off to the editor.  I have an actual editor now, thanks to my brilliant supporters on Patreon.  If you would like to support my writing efforts, well, buy one of my books.  If you wish, you can also support me at Patreon.com/wesleyallison.

End of August Update

Hello, friends,
I hope you are all prosperous and well. I’m 50% right now. I’ve got a sinus infection, but I’m writing like no tomorrow. I have about 1000 words left on the draft for Astrid Maxxim and the Great Water Project. So, I expect to be done with it tomorrow or the next day.
I’m still waiting for The Destroyer Returns to… um, return from the editor. I’m not sure of a date yet.
As to what comes next. Usually, when I finish a project, I write a bit of this and that and see what sticks. This time, I thought I would work on some bits that I’ve previously started. I’ve got little pieces of sequels for Princess of Amateur, Blood Trade, Tesla’s Stepdaughters, and two different sequels to Nova Dancer that I might combine into one book. I’ve even got two chapters of a Sorceress and the Dragon book– a series I thought I was done with. That’s not to mention pieces and parts of new projects. I’ve got another space project– 82 Eridani, a time travel story, and a couple of mythology based stories.
If any of those sound like something you’d like to read, let me know. In the meantime, stay safe and have fun.

What’s Coming Up?

His Robot Wife: Extreme Patience is out now at all ebook stores.  I’m very pleased with the reception.  If you’re worrying that this will be the last of my robot books, don’t.  There will be more eventually.

The Destroyer Returns is at the editor.  Expect it in a month or so.  This is a very different type of book for me.  It is a post-apocalyptic story, but one that is less character driven than some of my stories.   I’ll be interested to find out what people think of it.

Astrid Maxxim and the Great Water Project has three chapters to go on the first draft.  If you haven’t read my Astrid Maxxim books because they are aimed at young people, I ask you to please try one.  If you like my other books, I think you’ll like them.  Astrid starts as a high school freshman in the first book.  As she grows up, her challenges and adventures grow too.  In this book, she is a high school junior.

What comes next?  I don’t know.  Watch for a pole coming soon and vote on what you’d like to have me write.  Until then.  Stay safe and have a great fall.
